Wintle received grants and awards from Mid-America Arts Alliance, the Oklahoma Arts Council, the Organized Research Fund of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, the Everette Foundation, the Delius International Competition, the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association and the Burlington Company. His work was also recognized by the State of Oklahoma with the Governors Arts Award for Community Service.
Impact
This scholarship is for junior or senior students majoring in Music. Recipients must be enrolled full-time and have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Selection will be based on merit with special focus on individuals of high character and outstanding achievement in music academics and performance.
