Mrs. Pat Brigance

Albert graduated from Keota High School in 1951. His Bachelor Degree was complete as an honor student at Southeastern State University, Durant, Oklahoma in 1955 while serving in the Air Force. He served in the Air Force from 1953 through 1957 and attained the rank of Staff/Sergeant. He and Pat Hicks met while attending Southeastern State University and were married at Durant, Oklahoma, March 31, 1956. In 1975 Curriculum Associates published Albert’s first Brigance Inventory of Basic Skills. For the next twenty years Pat diligently traveled with Albert throughout the United States promoting all of Al’s educational and reading materials.
